We’re delighted to share that our partner Ishinomaki Laboratory is part of CREATE FROM MATERIALS exhibition at Isetan Shinjuku, Tokyo, from October 1–7, 2025.
As part of the JAPAN SENSES project by Isetan Mitsukoshi Group, the event revisits craftsmanship that embodies the beauty, skill, and tradition of Japan—reviving these values and presenting them as a spirit to be shared with the world.
For the event, Ishinomaki Laboratory (Japan) is showcasing Ishinomaki signature products by domestic and international designers and collaborations, featuring unique dyed pieces by renowned indigo dyeing brand BUAISOU based in Tokushima prefecture, and ‘Made in Local’ pieces crafted by CushCush Bali from reclaimed teakwood salvaged from traditional Joglo wooden houses. Each piece carries the warmth of natural wood, while reflecting heritage, sustainability, and collaboration.
