The Collective Culture: Gathering like-minded designers and makers for multi-national collaboration by Ishinomaki Laboratory
In line with the IDW 2026 theme ‘The Collective Culture’, Ishinomaki Laboratory embraces multi-national collaborations. Like-minded designers and makers come together, sharing the same interest of design, making, and building a good brand, supporting each other, fostering an environment of kinship and global connections.
At Indonesia Design Week 2026, Ishinomaki Laboratory x CushCush are showcasing a selection of these collections:
AA STOOL, AA HIGH STOOL, AA LOW STOOL by Torafu Architects
ISHINOMAKI STOOL, ISHINOMAKI STACKING BENCH, ISHINOMAKI BENCH, KOBO TABLE, TONBO TABLE by Keiji Ashizawa
105 LOUNGE CHAIR by Norm Architects
Each crafted using locally sourced sustainable wood, each a unique piece expressing the natural characteristics of the unique wood, the series is an interpretation of the Ishinomaki signature design, made locally in Bali.
Look out for the new Shiro Kuro finish for the AA LOW STOOL and AA HIGH STOOL series!
See you at Indonesia Design Week 2026: ‘The Collective Culture’ at Indonesia Design District (IDD) Jakarta.
