DenPasar2018: an Exhibition<\/h2>\n

Denpasar2018 is a group exhibition and movement that is part of CushCush Gallery\u2019s (CCG\u2019s) series of programs which aims to provide a platform for young artists and creative communities from various fields in Bali to come together and create artworks. In keeping with CCG\u2019s goal of actively seeking fresh perspectives, potentially intertwining the different disciplines and contemporary art and design to interact and collaborate, DenPasar2018 aims to represent the aspirations of creative generation in the present.

\nThe theme for DenPasar2018 is JINGGA. The color of twilight; the period when the daylight turns to dark night. As a metaphor of what the people of Denpasar feel about both the joys and hardships living in Denpasar.

DenPasar2018 Open Call Exhibition
\n<\/strong>For DenPasar2018 group exhibition, CCG begins its open call in April with a July submission deadline for the work in which selected participants will submit works that are ready to be curated and ready to be exhibited at the opening of the DenPasar2018 exhibition in October 2018.<\/p>\n

DenPasar2018: a Movement Program Partner<\/h2>\n

In the same spirit of DenPasar2017, in addition to DenPasar2018 group exhibition program at CCG, DenPasar2018 is also a movement. CCG will invite places and communities that have art and design programs to create a one-month full ofenriching events to jointly become a part of DenPasar2018 as a Program Partner, promoting the city of Denpasar in the mapping of art and design in Bali. The series of programs will be listed in the 2nd edition of DenPasar2018 Art + Design Map, with updated information.<\/p>\n

DenPasar ART + DESIGN MAP 2018\/2019<\/h1>\n

\nSince last year, CushCush Gallery has begun to map the venues of art \/ design \/ creative communities in Denpasar.<\/p>\n

Throughout the journey of mapping, there are several places that hold the potential of art and creativity in the city of Denpasar but have not been heard by other areas.
\nThe mapping of communities \/ places of art \/ design \/ creativity in Denpasar city is summarized in DenPasar Art + Design Map 2018\/2019 which was printed in 10,000 copies and distributed to various selected places in Bali and Java in order to publicize the potential of art \/ design \/ creative communities in Denpasar.
\nThe existence of the DenPasar Art + Design Map 2018\/2019 is an invitation for people to visit and explore places related to art \/ design \/ creativity in Denpasar.
\nDenPasar Art + Design Map 2018\/2019 is also aspired to bring the city of Denpasar to be better known, especially from the perspectives of art and design in the present moment.<\/p>\n
